Gracebased

Situation: A legacy that wanted to evolve.

Gracebased is a successful non profit that creates media for families. They underwent a leadership and strategy change when their founder retired and passed on leadership to his son.

Problem: The necessity of strategy. 

Gracebased approached GUM with a unique challenge: they were a successful print based media organization that had previously tried to enter podcasting but with limited success. Their previous efforts varied in focus and their production schedule was unpredictable.

Solution: Planning makes possible. 

We walked Gracebased through our Gum Method start to finish.  Beginning with the Podcast Playbook, we formed a comprehensive strategy for them to start podcasting. We cover everything from an industry overview to recording best practices. We then moved on to prototyping a show and begin to develop a content calendar for them. 

 

Working with GUM was such an accelerator for our organization. We walked away with clarity on our podcast and a plan for how to make it. I highly recommend the investment.

Results: A new medium for an established company. 

Gracebased found their way into podcasting with disciplined planning and execution and gave their audience a predictable and valuable way to engage with their content leading to podcast and organizational growth and will launch their shows at the end of 2024.
